Page history last edited by Deborah Müller 3 years, 11 months ago

This is a group and individual task.

Deadline: see Sessions for details

General information

Your company wants to present itself to an audience of university students. The aim of your presentation is to attract these students as potential applicants.

Presenters

  • Prepare a presentation of this company as managers of this company.
  • Each presenter should have at least two power point slides and not more than four.
  • Each presenter should talk between 2 to 3 minutes.

Content

Include information you think will interest potential applicants, for example:

  • what the company is famous for
  • main business areas
  • sales figures and achievements
  • history of the company
  • current trends
  • future developments
  • perks and benefits
  • traineeship description

What to do before the presentation

  • Make sure all group members' slides are all in one file on a USB stick
  • Practise your presentation together with your group
  • Check that your slides have no mistakes

What to bring to the presentation

  • A USB with the slides in one file

What to do at the presentation

  • While listening to the presentations it is not ok for you to talk or to prepare your own presentations or talk to other presenters.
  • You should be prepared to ask questions to the presenters (2 or 3 questions to each presenter), and your participation in this will be graded.
  • You should take notes on the things you like about each company: this information is important for the video application and the job fair.

What to do after the presentation

  • Use your notes to discuss with your group which company you want to apply to and why
