Job Fair Session

Page history last edited by Deborah Müller 3 years, 10 months ago

Before the job fair:

  • Companies present their companies to all applicants.
  • Applicants read through Job Advertisements and choose which company to apply to.
  • Applicants make a video application to this company.

What to bring to the job fair:

This is a group and individual task.

Deadline: see Sessions for details

Before you come to the Job Fair, your group must bring the following in a Job Fair Portfolio for your teacher.

At the job fair:

  • Companies interview 4 or 5 applicants for a traineeship/vocational training position in their companies.
  • Every student must play the role of applicant, interviewer and observer, at least once during the Job Fair.
  • Prepare for every role.
  • Each interview will last 10-15 MINUTES so make sure you prepare thoroughly!
  • Just like at a real Job Fair, you cannot hold any notes.
  • After the rounds, you regroup with your company and decide who gets the job.

For your job advertisement, please post the finished advertisement on the Job Advertisements' page.
